  • Mariah Schab

    YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Mariah was drawn to yoga in 2010, shortly after leaving her hometown of Monroe, WA, when she was walking down a quaint sidewalk in small town, Rhode Island, when the waft of a peculiar aroma was rushing down a rickety set of stairs and into the street. Having not prior considered being a yogi, or living holistically, she was overcome with a sense of wonder and contentment when she arrived to the top of the staircase, where the fragrance turned out to be a stick of patchouli incense, pleasantly smoldering outside of a hot room where a group of people were upside down and smiling. Yoga and all that surrounds it, has since been her only way of life. With the intent of living with just that feeling, wonder and contentment, bringing others along for the journey, starting with the uplifting, yet grounding practice that is yoga; the arduous, yet mindful practice of meditation; and the paramount and advantageous lifestyle of overall wellbeing.

She swiftly followed up this valiant life choice, by obtaining her 200hr-RYT at that same rustic old studio in Rhode island and subsequently taught at a few studios throughout New England for two years.

After much traveling, and practicing in nearly every town she's visited around the country and in some others around the globe, life brought her to Colorado. Particularly, Eagle.

Here in Eagle, Mariah is a stained glass artist at her own studio called “Your Glass is Mine”; a Barista, making only the most decadent and artful of cups of coffee at Yeti’s Grind, a professional thrift-flipper with an eye for many aesthetics; and a teacher at the Vitality Collective, bringing wellness in the mind and body through the connection of breath and movement.

  • Kate Wade

    YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Kate began practicing yoga more than two decades ago as a means of sports recovery (her first yoga class was taken in her parent’s basement to a Rodney Yee movie on their VCR player)! It wasn’t until later in life when she was living in Thailand and Indonesia that she found yoga to be the most accessible form of movement. There she started practicing Ashtanga and Vinyasa regularly and the fluidity, and meditative qualities captured her heart. Her greatest passions (art and running) have been geared towards finding a “flow state” and mind-body connection, so yoga fell naturally into the fold for her. Little did she know that her formative yoga experience would prepare her for her yoga certification 15 years later which was in a hybrid format online and culminated on the shores of Lake Atitlan in Guatemala. Kate is always learning and expanding her experience and knowledge of this lifelong practice, and most recently received her training in Yoga Sculpt. Her approach to yoga remains ever focused on the balance between strength and flexibility and in her upbeat and energizing classes you can expect to sweat, flow and have fun!
